Summer Internship Update: NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS. Thank you for your interest in WCNA’s Emerging Leaders STEM Research Summer Internship Program. Due to the overwhelming response and because all available program funding has been fully allocated, we are NO longer accepting applications for this summer’s program. We sincerely appreciate your interest and encourage you to follow WCNA for future STEM education, research, and workforce development opportunities. Our learning opportunity is focused on a green space feasibility study and more!
Wynnefield expansion and updates: Congratulations to WCNA and Dee Dukes, 2026 Indego Bike Ambassadors. We are looking forward to hosting group rides, community events and providing resources / education in order to increase engagement and accessibility in our Wynnefield neighborhood. We are sharing 2026 Primary Election Day official results. Voting is how we protect Pennsylvania democracy. We are preparing for the 2026 General Election on November 3, 2026. Congratulations to President Dee Dukes and all of the Iconic Women who were honored by the Philadelphia Citizens Police Oversight Committee (CPOC). An unforgettable Iconic celebration of women. Bala Cynwyd Middle School’s Advanced Choir was recently featured on 6-ABC News in December 2024 for giving the gift of song and spreading holiday cheer through their superb performance at the Wynnefield Community Neighborhood Association’s 4th Annual Holiday Toy Giveaway! A big shoutout to Ms. Sterner-Porreca and the Advanced Choir for sharing the magic of the holidays with our community! The Knights, under the direction of music teacher Anne Sterner-Porreca, filled the event with festive spirit and joy, as their beautiful harmonies and vibrant vocals not only brought smiles to attendees but also highlighted the power of music to unite and inspire during the season of giving.
