Get involved with the 52nd Ward. You are cordially invited to attend the 52nd Ward Community Resources & Business Job Fair on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This event will bring together neighbors, job seekers, employers, entrepreneurs, and community organizations from across the 52nd Ward (Wynnefield, Wynnefield Heights and Parkside) and surrounding neighborhoods. It is an excellent opportunity to showcase your organization, connect with potential customers, recruit qualified candidates, and share valuable programs and services with the community. Congratulations to the 2026 Women of Impact who were honored at the 1st Annual celebration hosted by WCNA in March 2026. Congratulations to President Dee Dukes and all of the Iconic Women who were honored by the Philadelphia Citizens Police Oversight Committee (CPOC). An unforgettable Iconic celebration of women. Bala Cynwyd Middle School’s Advanced Choir was recently featured on 6-ABC News in December 2024 for giving the gift of song and spreading holiday cheer through their superb performance at the Wynnefield Community Neighborhood Association’s 4th Annual Holiday Toy Giveaway! A big shoutout to Ms. Sterner-Porreca and the Advanced Choir for sharing the magic of the holidays with our community! The Knights, under the direction of music teacher Anne Sterner-Porreca, filled the event with festive spirit and joy, as their beautiful harmonies and vibrant vocals not only brought smiles to attendees but also highlighted the power of music to unite and inspire during the season of giving.
